Well, I am one of those unfortunate guys that were late for the first week of university. I thought it was going to be a disaster, especially since I had homework sent to me by post from the uni three weeks before it even started! So, I finally got a flight on thursday night and the uphill battle had begun.
So I got into the plane, nothing out of the ordinary or routine. (NOTE: Arab routine in the airport: If you have some one to nudge your bulging overweight bags at the airport, then use them!! They won't mind because you're either family, or he's repaying you a forever 'moral debt' you deserve to get) So basically, I somehow managed to carry three bags onto the plane as 'hand' luggage.
Long story cut short, i managed to reach London with no futher issues ( I don't want't to talk about queuing up in Heathrow). Then, the battle began, this Heathrow Xpress train thing is pretty epic, but then, the infamous London underground (dam dam da daaa!) go up the stairs with 30 kg on each arm and another 10kg on your back, then go down, SWITCH TRAINS QUICKLY!! (i think my shoulders still hurt), then go up and down. Finally, I reached some where, and got off to meet the real world.
It was freeeezing cold for me (since I was still wearing only a t-shirt and was sweating like hell. After going in circles a million times and finally finding the hall, I went in and that is was my first day in london.
*I'll try to go with less detail next time, I guess*
